The first snowboard event of it’s kind for the city of Kitchener On Saturday, January 17, 2009 Meltdown Snowboard Shop will make history by hosting Kitchener’s first Professional Snowboard Rail Competition. Enjoy free hot chili, a live DJ and licensed beer tents as you watch 20 of Ontario’s top professional snowboarders battle it out for $1,000 in cold hard cash.

Between snowboard heats, cheer on Jason Thorne of the Metal Mulisha and his FMX team as they perform wild and crazy Freestyle MotoX winter demos.

Make your way through the vender village where top snowboard companies such as Forum, Burton, Nitro, Ride, Lib Tech, and Rome will be showcasing their latest products and handing out free giveaways.
